February 18th - An Inkfish Art Market and Performance Fundraiser

Tickets available here

About

Glam Rock theme.

In preparation and support of our fabulous plans for Otherworld 2023 and YHMS's Masquerade 2023.

The vibe will be similar to that of our previous fundraiser, The Sunken Garden Party, but with more opportunities for our members (and any other interested artists) to share their own art and make some fun connections (and coin) as well.

A great afternoon party where proceeds will go to a good cause, with tons of VERY COOL ART and MAXIMUM GLAM you can pick up for your outfits, whether for immediate use, getting STYLED for later at night, or maximizing your look for the Summer and Masquerade ahead.

Any category of art is welcome but decor, music and mood will be slanted towards costume, makeup, body and face paint, masks, kink, drag, glitter and epic flamboyant fabulousness of every kind.

There are other weird wild and wonderful events happening in the city on the night of the 18th, so we have set our timing to complement those events. Guests, and our volunteers will be able to take part in our event, glam up for their evening, and then head out in style to whatever evening revelry draws them near. We want to be the best pre-party, pre-evening, pre-game in town.

WANT TO JOIN IN?

Inkfish hosts several kinds of events throughout the year.

Monthly meet-and-greets for current and potential new members.

Anyone interested in giving art and maker projects a try is welcome, no experience necessary.

These are often pot lucks events that combine easy access project and social opportunities. Sometimes these events are purely off-the-wall fun activities such as archery tag, black light ping-pong, or unique outdoor location crafting adventures. Come check us out, learn about our upcoming large group projects and get to know our collective members.

Semi-monthly build events for existing major projects.

These events are for current members, they are open for anyone to join but usually require some start up information before jumping in. These projects include Burning Man regional events and city arts events. These events also include fund raisers. Fund raisers support the upkeep and expansion of our collective, they also help cover the logistics of the events we facilitate. Fundraisers usually happen 1-2 times a year.

Volunteer Arts events held by and for our members.

Got a project in mind but need some extra hands? Just wanna help out and learn more about our arts community? These events may be for you.

Get Started

Check our our calendar of events on our website and Facebook pages. Request to join our Facebook group and we will get you on the invite list.

Want to bring a friend to an event? New folks are always welcome to our monthly meet-and-greets however, please ensure their name is added to the event invite list. Events are often held in private homes and we always want to make sure we are respecting the comfort of our hosts and providing enough space and supplies for everyone. If large enough interest is shown in a particular event a larger venue can always be found.

Join the Inkfish Builder Support Group and say hello.
